Abstract

This report, generated from the behavioral archives of the International Studies of Cognitive Ontology (ISCO), analyzes the destabilizing effect of Involuntary Escalation in early-stage courtship. Examining the case of Subject Alex and Subject Jamie, the report focuses on the transition from Casual Connection (Coffee) to High-Stakes Performance (Limo/Exclusive Dining) on the second interaction. The analysis defines the Commitment Tax—the implicit emotional debt created by unrequested lavishness. The findings reveal that Generosity acts as a "saboteur" when it bypasses the recipient's Consent to Severity, leading to Decreasing Liking as a subconscious strategy to avoid the Burden of Labor.
