Emergent Propagation Correlational Ontology
Abstract
We investigate the emergence of propagating physical behavior within a minimal correlational framework that postulates no fundamental entities, spacetime geometry, or dynamical laws. Physical descriptions arise as effective regimes induced by admissible projections of a persistent correlational minimum selected by minimal structural complexity. We show that dynamic projections introducing an ordering parameter give rise to a canonical linear response regime, in which perturbations of the correlational structure exhibit stable propagation. Dispersion relations emerge from the spectral properties of the projected response operator, with a universal quadratic leading term at low energy. Massless and massive modes are identified in terms of spectral gaps, while higher-order corrections encode deviations from relativistic propagation. Propagation is thus derived as an emergent, regime-dependent structural response rather than as a manifestation of fundamental dynamics. The framework provides a unified and ontology-minimal origin for wave propagation, causal structure, and effective field behavior.
