NURSING CARE IN DISORDERS OF CEREBRAL AND SPINAL CORD CIRCULATION
Abstract
Impaired blood circulation in the brain and spinal cord is a major cause of neurological disability and mortality worldwide. These conditions lead to ischemia, neuronal damage, and loss of vital neurological functions. Nurses play a critical role in the early detection, management, and rehabilitation of patients with cerebrospinal circulatory disorders. This article analyzes the pathophysiology, clinical manifestations, and essential components of nursing care for patients with cerebral and spinal cord circulation impairments. Emphasis is placed on nursing assessment, acute-phase interventions, prevention of complications, rehabilitation support, and patient education. Effective nursing care based on evidence-based practice significantly improves patient outcomes, reduces complications, and enhances quality of life.
