The Planck-Scale Stochastic Background Field: The Emergent Origin of Gravity, Time, and Inertia: A Unified Hydrodynamic Framework for Quantum Mechanics and General Relativity
Abstract
A Unified Hydrodynamic Framework for Quantum Mechanics and General Relativity This work proposes a paradigm shift in foundational physics: rather than treating spacetime geometry as fundamental, we posit that it emerges from a deeper Planck-scale stochastic background field. By reinterpreting the Einstein field equations as hydrodynamic equations of this quantum vacuum, we successfully unify the principles of General Relativity and Quantum Mechanics without introducing extra dimensions or fine-tuning. Key Derivations and Results: · Origin of Time Dilation: Derived as a hydrodynamic wave drag effect. The relativistic Lorentz factor ($\gamma$) is mathematically identified with the aerodynamic Prandtl-Glauert singularity, arising from the vacuum's finite impedance. · Origin of Gravity: Modeled as an optical refraction process caused by lattice density gradients. We successfully derive the precise 1.75 arcsecond light deflection angle by summing temporal (impedance) and spatial (curvature) contributions. · Origin of Inertia: Explained via the Langevin dynamics of particles interacting with the stochastic background, recovering Newton's laws from statistical averages. · Resolution of Singularities: The discrete lattice structure naturally imposes a physical cutoff, preventing the divergence of curvature invariants and eliminating singularities. · Nature of Dark Energy: Identified as the intrinsic lattice pressure of the background field, providing a dynamic explanation for cosmic acceleration. This framework offers a rigorous, mechanistic explanation for relativistic phenomena, suggesting that the "mysteries" of the universe are emergent properties of a fluid-like quantum vacuum. I want to clarify that I didn’t set out to mechanically 'force' a result that matches Einstein’s. I simply spend a lot of time pondering the fundamental nature of the spacetime we inhabit. It struck me that since all objects exist within space, the laws governing that space should be homologous to fluid mechanics—after all, the primary variable distinguishing them is simply the density of the medium. Since we know from Relativity that time is scalable (it dilates), I hypothesized: if time and this fluid medium have a dynamic relationship, would the logical conclusions align with Einstein’s results? I decided to run the calculations to see. To my absolute shock, the results were identical. I truly believe this is not a coincidence. I started by describing the universe in the most natural, physical way possible, and the mathematics simply followed. Later, when I applied this new architecture to 'fatal' problems that Relativity and Quantum Mechanics struggle to resolve intuitively—such as the origin of gravity, the derivation of Newton's laws, light diffraction, the double-slit experiment, the rotation of celestial bodies, and infinite cosmic expansion—my framework offered extremely natural explanations. Unlike traditional theories that often require adding numerous conditions or anti-intuitive rules to fit dead ends, this framework only requires us to follow established fluid laws. That is why I wrote this article. I do not believe it is a coincidence that this architecture can qualitatively explain so many distinct phenomena; I am convinced there is a fundamental truth here that predecessors may have overlooked.
