L1 Paper 4 EW QED EM coupling collapse
Abstract
This paper analyzes the relationship between electroweak and electromagnetic coupling structures and shows that their apparent multiplicity collapses under admissibility and standing preservation. The analysis is eliminative: it demonstrates that once chiral consistency, identity persistence, and compositional closure are fixed, electroweak and electromagnetic couplings cannot remain independent without introducing redundant or inadmissible structure. The collapse is treated as a representational identification rather than a dynamical unification. Attempts to maintain independent coupling freedoms are shown to either duplicate enforcement, violate equivalence closure, or rely on illicit scope transport between representational layers. As a result, coupling differentiation is shown to be a bookkeeping artifact that disappears under admissible redescription. The paper introduces no new primitives and proposes no mechanisms. Its contribution is boundary-setting: it clarifies why electroweak and electromagnetic couplings must appear as a single constrained structure in any admissible local representation, and why treating them as independently adjustable parameters is structurally inadmissible.
