L7 Redescription Rigidity Role Preservation
Abstract
This paper proves a rigidity constraint on admissible redescription within a closed epistemic framework. It shows that any admissible redescription must preserve role, not merely form: objects, relations, or structures may be re-expressed, but their functional standing within the admissible system cannot change without inducing collapse. Apparent novelty arising from role-shifting redescriptions is shown to be illicit, amounting to hidden scope transport or covert parameter introduction. The result is purely eliminative and non-constructive. It introduces no new primitives, provides no procedures, and does not propose a representational scheme. Its function is boundary-defining: it establishes that redescription freedom exists only within strict role preservation, and that violations are structurally detectable as standing failure rather than alternative interpretations.
