B11 Ethical Normative Legitimacy Is Impossible
Abstract
This paper establishes an impossibility result for ethical or normative legitimacy within a closed admissible framework. It proves that legitimacy cannot be grounded in ethical principles, moral norms, or value-based justification without violating admissibility or standing conservation. Any attempt to derive legitimacy from normative commitments is shown to introduce illicit scope transport, external authority injection, or deferred justification, collapsing admissibility. The analysis is strictly eliminative and non-constructive: it introduces no new primitives, specifies no procedures, and offers no operational or evaluative framework. The result functions as a boundary theorem, ruling out ethics- or norm-based legitimacy as an admissible foundation in closed systems.
