From Vapor to Berg: Why Invisible Substrates Becoming Solid Is Not Only Plausible but Familiar
Abstract
This paper develops an educational and teleological discussion of the SP3 space-phaseframework using water as a familiar demonstration case. Humanity readily accepts thatinvisible water vapor can condense into snow, liquid water, and ultimately massiveicebergs. Yet the same intuition might easily resist the proposal that space itself couldundergo analogous phase progression. SP3 extends the lesson of water: space-phase is aphysical substrate that can be nudged, aligned, and progressively saturated. Matter isinterpreted as fully saturated space-phase rather than an external substance added toemptiness. The vapor-to-berg analogy provides a bridge for lay audiences and scientists, showing how solidity can emerge naturally from what was once unseen.
