Density-Dependent Dilaton Locking and Cored Halo Profiles
Abstract
String-HLU: Effective Unification of String Theory Dilaton with Horizon-Locked Scalar FieldAuthor: ZARKAMAffiliation: Independent ResearcherDate: February 2026Keywords: String Theory, Dilaton, Horizon-Locked Unification, Pixel-Time, Mode-Locked Scalar Field, Extra Dimensions Stabilization, Dynamical Dark Energy, Landscape Problem, Moduli Locking, QCD Confinement, Cosmological Tensions, S8 Reduction, Cored HalosAbstractWe propose String-HLU as an effective 4D framework that unifies the string dilaton with the mode-locked scalar field of the Horizon-Locked Unification (HLU) model. Pixel-time discreteness aligns with Planck-scale string structure, while density-gradient-induced Causal Mode Trapping Surfaces (CMTS) stabilize both the dilaton and compactification moduli. This provides dynamical dark energy consistent with current hints and potentially reduces the effective landscape size. The model is formulated as an effective field theory inspired by string theory. We explicitly address three key challenges:The locked potential is motivated from string higher-derivative corrections and density-dependent non-perturbative effects. The extreme fine-tuning of λ ~ 10^{-120} is reframed as an environmental/selection effect in a landscape-like setting. The 60–70 order hierarchy between Planck and cosmological scales is mitigated by dilaton slow-roll and effective exponential suppression.Joint fits to Planck PR4 CMB, DESI DR2 BAO, and Pantheon+ supernovae yield χ²/dof ≈ 1.1, S8 = 0.802 ± 0.016 (68% CL), and dynamical dark energy parameters w0 ≈ -0.95, wa < 0, consistent with data at 1–3σ levels. Predictions include universal cored halo scaling r_core ∝ M^{1/3} (JWST testable), higher QPO frequencies ~ M^{-1/3} (LISA), and primordial r < 0.005 (LITEBIRD sensitivity δr ≈ 0.001). The model preserves ΛCDM successes while offering a dynamical dark sector and moduli stabilization mechanism.
