Plant Families of Ethiopia and Eritrea: A Checklist
Abstract
This dataset contains a comprehensive checklist of 291 vascular plant families(including synonyms) occurring in Ethiopia and Eritrea, compiled from the Flora of Ethiopia and Eritrea (FEE) project. ### Data Structure The dataset follows Darwin Core standards and includes: 1. **Taxonomic Information**: Family-level classification following POWO (Plants of the World Online) 2. **Geographic Coverage**: Ethiopia and Eritrea 3. **Temporal Coverage**: Current (as of 2024) 4. **Taxonomic Coverage**: All vascular plant families documented in FE
