Admissibility Without Nodes An Envelope First Formalism
Abstract
This paper introduces an envelope-first formalism for admissibility that does not rely on nodes, agents, or internal process representations. It shows that admissibility is determined entirely by envelope constraints governing reference, scope, and standing, independent of any underlying architecture or execution substrate. By eliminating node-centric accounts, the analysis demonstrates that admissibility is not an emergent property of internal structure but a necessary boundary condition on claims themselves. The result is established through structural necessity and exhaustion, without algorithms, pipelines, or construction procedures, and applies equally to human, artificial, and hybrid epistemic systems.
