Paradox:Odd Perfect Numbers.
Abstract
Abstract:This research presents a structural parity proof for the long-standing problem of Odd Perfect Numbers (OPNs). Using a discrete decomposition of the sum of proper divisors, the author demonstrates that odd integers possess an inherent structural "gap" that cannot be closed to reach perfection (100% equilibrium). The proof is developed through two primary cases:Odd Perfect Squares: Proving that the parity of the divisor count creates a sum-identity contradiction.Non-Square Odd Integers: Utilizing "Samaneh’s Parity Principle" to show that an odd number of odd components cannot resolve the even gap required for perfection. This paper concludes that the nature of odd integers is substantively incompatible with the classical definition of a perfect number, thereby proving their non-existence.
