Meta-analysis of Bioprospecting of Plant Species in the Nariño Region with Biomedical Potential

Nariño harbours high-value plant biodiversity, yet its bioactivity evidence is dispersed. This project applies a PRISMA-P meta-analysis to systematise quantitative data on antimicrobial and antioxidant activities through literature screening, standardised extraction, and multivariate statistics. The study will identify high-potential species and compounds, strengthening regional bioprospecting, sustainable resource use, and the development of innovative natural therapeutic products.
