Resolution of the Vacuum Catastrophe: The Point of Oblivion Theorem and Exponential Recursive Scaling
Abstract
The Vacuum Catastrophe represents a $10^{122}$ discrepancy between the predicted vacuum energy density ($\rho_{\text{vac}}$) and the observed cosmological constant ($\Lambda$). This paper introduces a scale-invariant solution via the \textbf{Point of Oblivion Theorem}. We demonstrate that the observed energy density is the geometric mean of the Planck and Hubble limits, regulated by a recursive null-space geometry. By accounting for exactly $280.9$ $e$-folds of information decay, the magnitude gap is eliminated, replacing fine-tuning with a first-principles geometric derivation. In standard cosmology, the Cosmological Constant has to be "fine-tuned" to an impossible degree to allow the universe to exist. If Cosmological Constant is simply a geometric mean (a natural result of the universe's scale relative to the Planck scale), then the universe isn't a "lucky accident"—it is a mathematical necessity.
