Tide Interpolation Function

This repository contains R code and example data to interpolate tidal heights at high temporal resolution for the Chiloé region in Chile. The code allows users to estimate tide values at user-defined time intervals based on observed high and low tide tables from the Servicio Hidrográfico y Oceanográfico de la Armada de Chile (SHOA). Note: This code was developed as part of the analyses for the manuscript Basso E, Ruiz J, Bedriñana-Romano L, Valenzuela J, Navedo JG (in review) Spatial networks reveal a highly centralized functional connectivity in non-breeding areas for a long-distance migratory shorebird.
