Abstract

GRUT Phase I: The Closure Protocol (v12)Grand Responsive Universe Theory (GRUT) is a developing candidate unified framework grounded in the principle of Universal Responsiveness: physical law is treated as an emergent property of a scalable, responsive, and memory-dependent vacuum. This record publishes Phase I (Closure Protocol): the operational gravitational module of GRUT, focused on dark-sector phenomenology (rotation curves, clusters, lensing) using a causal, screened metric-response model and an audit-grade reproducibility standard. AbstractWe introduce the Grand Responsive Universe Theory (GRUT), a candidate unified framework grounded in the principle of Universal Responsiveness. GRUT posits that physical laws are not static background constraints, but emergent properties of a scalable, responsive, and memory-dependent vacuum. This document presents Phase I: The Closure Protocol, which operationalizes this theory for the cosmological Dark Sector. By treating “Dark Matter” not as an auxiliary particle but as the gravitational memory of the vacuum response, Phase I resolves the discrepancy between the cosmic baseline (τΛ ≡ H0⁻¹) and local structure formation (τ0 ≈ 41.9 Myr) via a canonical screening mechanism. We define the operational constants, the causal response kernel, and the Numerical Integrity Standard (NIS) required to certify these claims. While Phase I focuses on the metric response, it establishes the foundational logic—causality, screening, and memory—that Phase II will extend toward a broader theory of universal responsiveness. What this record contains- Main manuscript (Phase I + Phase II roadmap)- Integrated appendices (notation, constants provenance, kernel math, Solar System shielding, mapping functions, dataset rules, NIS spec)- (Optional) Evidence Packet: benchmark outputs and NIS certificates- (Optional) Software pointers for GRUT-RAI (engine + NIS auditor + narrative layer) Phase I canon (operational)- Cosmic baseline: τΛ ≡ H0⁻¹ (definition relative to chosen H0 baseline; not a prediction)- Vacuum parameter: α_vac = 1/3 (canonical; distinct from α_QED)- Screening factor: S ≈ 12π/α_vac² = 108π ≈ 339.29- Local effective time: τ0 = τΛ / S ; canonical adoption τ0 ≈ 41.9 Myr- Frequency gate: X ≡ ω_dyn τ0 ; α_eff(X) = α_vac / (1 + X²)- Dynamics and lensing share the same effective potential: ∇²Φ_eff = 4πG(ρ_bar + ρ_vac) (No global lensing multiplier.) Reproducibility: Numerical Integrity Standard (NIS)All computational claims should be accompanied by an NIS certificate containing:- determinism stamp (SHA-256 of inputs + code_version + random_seed)- convergence status + final residual (< 1e-6) + iterations- fuzz fraction (target < 1%)- unit consistency flag- safe_mode flag- data provenance (dataset_name, source_hash, access_date)- environment (engine_version, python_version, precision) Companion / related records- Structural Closure / 3-loop companion (Record A): https://zenodo.org/records/18008060- Code archive (Engine + NIS): DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.18521060 How to citeGrover, D.
