Agreement-Based Projection Dynamics in Phase–Frequency Systems
Abstract
This preprint introduces a projection-based dynamical framework for phase–frequency systems operating under agreement-based admissibility constraints. The proposed dynamics is defined by relaxed projections onto closed convex sets encoding non-acceleration and non-worsening invariants. In the static case, Fejér monotonicity guarantees convergence to the agreement core. For slowly varying consensus centers, the framework yields bounded tracking (“soft return”) without objective functions or control inputs. The results provide a geometric stability mechanism based on projection rather than force or optimization.
