Constraints on Pharmacological Re-Opening of Ease Under High Z
Abstract
This note states a minimal, non-actionable hypothesis about the pharmacological re-opening (not stabilization) of Ease under high Z. Within the Ease framework, access to the regime is constrained primarily by early evaluative capture and anticipatory closure, not by insufficient hedonic capacity. This implies a distinction between (i) pharmacological stabilization of Ease as a maintained state, which is unlikely under the framework, and (ii) transient pharmacological widening of the entry window, which is logically compatible with it. No compounds, targets, or delivery strategies are proposed. The note is intentionally written at the level of architectural constraints and falsifiable predictions, not as an optimization recipe. Core predicted signatures include: entry-selective effects (probability and time-to-threshold), strong timing dependence (pre-lock-in vulnerability), cancellation under instrumentalization (methodification), and Z-selective benefit (largest effects in high-Z individuals). This note is designed for attribution and falsification, and to prevent conceptual drift toward reward-amplification interpretations. References:Morin, F. (2026). Ease. Zenodo.Morin, F. (2026).
