If the source of a subtle suffocationhas merely found words, that is enough. The world where thinking is sealedis already complete. It is convenient, kind, designed to minimize accidents, and easy to describe as “free.” There is no need to destroy it.No need to fight it.No need to shout. There is only one choice left:to step out. Stepping out does not mean rejecting everything. It means not handing over every judgment. Not expecting everything to be anticipated for you.Not moving forward while remaining unclear. It means pausing—checking the premises—and returning a single “Why?” to the table. That is all. Freedom is not the abundance of choices. It is not convenience. It is not reaching the correct answer quickly. Freedom istaking responsibility for one’s own thinking. That responsibility is heavy. It is inconvenient. It often comes with loneliness. Yet only within that weightdoes a moment appearwhen life feels truly one’s own. This world will continueto move toward not having to think. That direction will not reverse. Still, as long as there are peoplewho choose to think, this world is not completely sealed. If you feel even a slight sense of discomfort now, that is not a flaw. It is proofthat you have not yet surrendered agency.
