Eliminating Skepticism Concerning Antineoplaston Therapy
Abstract
Antineoplaston therapy has long been proposed as a potential cancer treatment, yet it remains highly controversial due to unresolved questions surrounding its efficacy, safety, and scientific validation. Although early studies primarily conducted by the therapy’s developer reported positive outcomes, these findings have not been independently replicated at scale. This article reviews the existing literature on antineoplaston therapy, examines the methodological limitations of published studies, and discusses the ethical and regulatory challenges associated with its continued clinical use. Based on the current evidence base, the analysis concludes that skepticism toward antineoplaston therapy remains scientifically justified and that broader clinical adoption is not supported without rigorous, independent validation.
