Modern society is optimizingfor one supreme value:not having to think. No hesitation No mistakes No stopping No responsibility Systems built on these conditionsare comfortable, efficient, and quiet. At the same time, they remove access to premises. Institutionsreduce questions, flatten judgment, and eliminate exceptions. As a result, people do not become freer. They become predictable. Predictable humansare easy to manage, easy to educate, and highly compatible with AI. Here, society made a choice:to prioritize stability over freedom. This choice is not evil. But it has a cost. That cost is thatthose who thinkbegin to stand out. People who question premises, slow down,or challenge designare treated as inefficient. Yet ironically, when institutions reach their limits, those are precisely the peoplethey need. v2.0 does not ask“who is to blame.”It askswhere agency should reside. Should thinkingbe returned to humans,or fully entrusted to systems? That decisionis already underway.
