We now live in a culturewhere speed is treated as virtue. Quickly understood Quickly decided Quickly executed Quickly rewarded This sequence feels exhilarating. At the same time,it removes room for thinking. Hesitation is seen as incompetence.Pausing is labeled delay.Continued questioningis dismissed as troublesome. Thus culture beginsto recommendthe option not to think. You don’t have to think. You can leave it to others. You can just go with the flow. It appears liberating. In reality,it quietly accumulates fatigue. Why the fatigue?Because meaning is never touched. Meaning does not arise in speed. It grows only throughhesitation, questioning, and return. A culture that avoids thinkingmakes life easier. At the same time,it thins the world. v2.3 does not proposea counterculture. It points to a space for recovery. Speed need not be rejected.Convenience need not be discarded. What must be restoredis a brief pause. Thinking may beculture’s last luxury.Yet it is the only luxurythat frees people from fatigueand reconnects them with the world. Here, we pause. What comes nextis yours to think.
