Beyond Standard Model Extensions as Illicit Extensions
Abstract
This paper shows that proposed extensions beyond the Standard Model do not constitute new physical structure, but instead represent illicit extensions of an already exhausted bookkeeping space. Once admissibility, standing preservation, and representational minimality are enforced, the Standard Model is shown to fully saturate the space of legitimate bookkeeping distinctions available at its scope. Additional fields, symmetries, dimensions, or sectors fail not empirically but structurally: they introduce representational degrees of freedom that cannot be licensed without violating admissibility constraints. The argument is eliminative and exhaustion-based, providing no alternative models or construction pathways. Its contribution to closure is decisive: it places all beyond–Standard Model proposals on record as category errors arising from misinterpreting bookkeeping latitude as ontic freedom.
