Abstract

This paper shows that General Relativity is not a foundational theory but a constraint-licensed bookkeeping regime whose legitimacy is entirely derived from admissibility and standing preservation. Spacetime geometry, diffeomorphism freedom, and dynamical equations are shown to function as representational devices licensed within a bounded scope, rather than as ontic commitments about reality. The analysis is exhaustion-based and strictly non-constructive: it does not modify, extend, or replace General Relativity, nor does it introduce alternative dynamics. Instead, it demonstrates why GR remains valid where its constraint bundle is satisfied and why attempts to elevate it to a universal or generative framework constitute illicit scope expansion. The result contributes directly to maximal closure by fixing GR’s status, limits, and non-fundamentality on record.
