Abstract

This paper presents a complete taxonomy of standing failure modes applicable to proposed theories across physics and mathematics. Each class of failure is defined structurally in terms of admissibility violations—such as illicit redescription, scope transport, parameter smuggling, or process import—rather than by empirical inadequacy or internal inconsistency. The taxonomy is strictly declarative and non-operational: it introduces no evaluation procedures, scoring systems, or repair strategies. Its purpose is eliminative, fixing all possible ways a theory can fail to preserve standing and showing that no additional failure classes remain. By exhausting the space of standing failure modes, the paper places definitive falsification boundaries on record and contributes directly to maximal closure.
