ETD Vacuum Radiation: Larmor-like Scaling in Scalar/Vector Models and Vortex-Photon Experiments
Abstract
This record presents a reproducible simulation study of vacuum radiation diagnostics in the ETD framework, including an empirical consistency check against single-bubble sonoluminescence pressure trends and a simulation-based emission channel that produces a single outgoing photon-like wavepacket. We use three effective models in 2+1 dimensions: (i) linearised scalar S field, (ii) EM-like U(1) vector potential with ETD clock weighting, and (iii) a gauged Abelian-Higgs vortex-antivortex system (ϕ, A_i) seeded from ETD 1D BPS vortex profiles. In the scalar and vector source-driven runs, a localized accelerated trajectory produces far-field radiation consistent with a Larmor-like scaling in simulation units, with fitted coefficients C_S ≈ 0.025 and C_vec ≈ 0.028. In the Abelian-Higgs runs, a dynamic Θ(S, ∇S) weight is included directly in the evolution operator. In near-BPS and Type-I regimes, vortex-antivortex annihilation transfers ~80-85% of post-relaxation energy into a single outgoing gauge-plus-scalar wavepacket. A separate 3+1 Maxwell (Yee-style) GPU harness is used for packet diagnostics: helicity via the Riemann-Silberstein field (h_RS ≈ -0.89 in a forward cone), a dominant peak consistent with N = f / f_ETD,local ≈ 1, an energy-closed frequency allocation, and an action-based photon-number estimate n_total ≈ 1 for the aperture used. A 3+1 DOF test verifies the expected factor-of-two increase when driving two orthogonal transverse polarizations (C_vec(xy)/C_vec(x) ≈ 2) in both cone and full-sphere apertures. External consistency check: the ETD acceleration functional I_a = ∫ a_eff(t)^2 dt computed from published single-bubble collapse traces covaries strongly with photon yield per flash across ambient pressures (log-correlation ≈ 0.981; Spearman ρ = 1.000). Supplementary archive includes Python scripts, digitized SL data, generated figures, README.md, and requirements.txt for reproducibility.
