Abstract

This record documents Deliverable D2.2 of the MYCOBEANS project (MSCA Staff Exchange), reporting on the implementation and initial execution of toxicity profiling activities within WP2. (WP2 - Lead: UNIVIE) The deliverable describes the development and operationalisation of an integrated in silico–in vitro framework to assess cumulative and combinatory toxicity associated with food-relevant contaminants in legume-based products. The approach is grounded on occurrence and co-occurrence data generated within the project and focuses on realistic exposure scenarios involving regulated and emerging mycotoxins. The report outlines experimental strategies, prioritisation criteria and biological endpoints supporting a mechanistically informed assessment of combined toxicity under food-relevant conditions.
