Yang Jihoon Dynamic Structure: Contextual Viability Across Shifting Scales
Abstract
This paper presents a dynamic structural framework for analyzing viability across system, organizational, and individual scales. Rather than treating these scales as fixed analytical categories, the framework demonstrates that constraints, failures, and opportunities shift with context, timing, and perspective. The central claim is that many apparent disagreements about responsibility—whether failures are “systemic,” “organizational,” or “individual”—arise from scale fixation rather than from genuinely distinct dynamics. The same structural processes—temporal compression, distance collapse, hidden transition load, and reversibility degradation—operate invariantly across scales, while their manifestations and loci change with contextual conditions. The analysis is strictly diagnostic. It does not prescribe reforms, policies, or individual strategies. Instead, it provides criteria for recognizing when scale-appropriate responses become contextually inappropriate, when constraints migrate across levels, and when interventions fail because analytical perspective has not shifted alongside changing conditions. Organizations are examined as translation mechanisms mediating between incompatible temporal resolutions. Individual experiences of fragmentation, organizational rhythm-coupling failures, and system-level brittleness are shown to be contextual readings of unified structural dynamics rather than independent phenomena. Positioned within the Yang Jihoon theoretical framework, this work integrates prior scale-specific analyses into a single dynamic structure. It is intended to function as a reference framework for structural diagnosis rather than a normative or prescriptive theory, remaining applicable across diverse domains where heterogeneous rhythms must coexist without irreversible damage.
