Abstract

Coordinating a single team spread across four different workplaces requires careful planning and division of responsibilities. In this case, the team's work is organized by areas of expertise, covering specialized skill sets, and areas of responsibility, which define the roles assigned to stakeholders for the purpose of effective task distribution. By assigning each location a clear area of competence and selecting team members to perform tasks based on their expertise, the project avoids duplication of effort and ensures the effective use of all employees. Support regular communication and the use of structured tools, such as workload plans and role matrices, to help synchronize work across time and location. The following sections describe key processes—resource planning, readiness handover, role allocation, and risk tracking—and provide illustrative tables for each.
