A Jocular History of Quantum Physics – Celebrating the Moment in 2026 when it Regained Clarity, Causality, and Physical Meaning as Its Carrier Was Acknowledged
Abstract
The historical development of quantum physics is often recounted as a triumphantsequence of mathematical breakthroughs, yet the personal attitudes of its founders reveala more conflicted story. Planck introduced quantization reluctantly, Einstein employedquanta while doubting their implications, Bohr discouraged ontological inquiry, andFeynman openly admitted that no one truly understood the theory. This paper presents adeliberately jocular but technically serious narrative of quantum history, highlighting howquantum mechanics evolved into a powerful predictive framework largely divorced fromphysical explanation. Using the SP3 (Space-Phase 3) framework, the paper argues that thepersistent conceptual discomfort surrounding quantum mechanics arises from theabsence of an explicit transport medium. By reinterpreting quantization, wave–particleduality, collapse, uncertainty, and entanglement as natural consequences of coherence, confinement, and decoherence within space-phase, SP3 restores mechanism andcontinuity to quantum physics. What once appeared as paradox is reframed as behavior ofthe medium, allowing quantum mechanics to be understood not as mystical or observerdependent, but as early on an incomplete description awaiting its physical substrate.
