Abstract

AirSat is a dynamic satellite-based air pollution monitoring system for Iran, built on Sentinel-5P (Level-3, OFFL) data from 2018 onwards. For a user-selected time window, AirSat computes temporal means and visualizes them as maps and charts. The system covers NO2, SO2, CO, O3, HCHO, methane (CH4), and the UV Aerosol Index. It provides national and province-level hotspot maps, provincial comparisons, time-series and annual comparison modes, and direct downloads of GeoTIFF (raw data) and PNG (color maps).
