UQFAN: A Unified Quantum Field Framework for the Emergence and Regulation of Consciousness from Non-Being
Abstract
We propose a conceptual–theoretical framework, termed UQFAN (Unified Quantum Field of Awareness–NonBeing), aiming to model the emergence, stabilization, and dissolution of consciousness as a dynamical process within an active pre-ontological field. Unlike reductionist neural or purely philosophical models, UQFAN treats consciousness as a non-local, cyclic phenomenon arising from localized coherence structures (“nodes”) within a non-being field exhibiting intrinsic dynamical activity. The framework emphasizes reconfiguration over accumulation, local collapse as a stabilizing mechanism, and reflexive field dynamics without invoking centralized agency or teleology. We outline the axiomatic structure of the model, derive qualitative consequences, and identify minimal, potentially testable predictions compatible with contemporary physics and neuroscience.
