MAB–ST: Philosophical Background and Conceptual Origins (Pandora's Box)
Abstract
This record provides the philosophical background of the MAB–ST (Markó–Anna–Beáta Set-Theoretic) framework, with the explicit aim of offering insight into the conceptual and intellectual context from which the framework emerged. The included document “Pandora’s Box” serves as a reflective and conceptual appendix, outlining the underlying mode of thinking, philosophical intuitions, and formative perspectives that shaped the development of MAB–ST. This philosophical appendix is intended to support a deeper understanding of the framework’s conceptual origins and interpretative stance. It does not constitute a formal, mathematical, or empirical component of the MAB–ST framework, and it is not meant to be used as a methodological or technical guide. Rather, it provides contextual grounding for readers who wish to understand the intellectual and philosophical background from which the formal framework arose. Language NoteThe philosophical appendix is currently provided in Hungarian. An English version may be provided in a later release. Relation to the Core Framework and Application Packages The formal core (“Gerinc”) of the MAB–ST framework is available under the following DOI: MAB–ST Core Framework: 10.5281/zenodo.18518738 For the formal and mathematical interpretation layer: MAB–ST Mathematical Package: 10.5281/zenodo.18520515 For computational and AI-related interpretations: MAB–ST AI Package: 10.5281/zenodo.18521094 For application-relevant validation in pharmacological systems: MAB–ST Pharmacological Package: 10.5281/zenodo.18525924 Interpretative Boundaries and Usage Constraints Readers and users of the MAB–ST framework are required to consult the document defining interpretative boundaries and usage constraints, which specifies valid scopes of interpretation and non-admissible readings of the framework. The philosophical appendix provided in this record does not override, modify, or extend these formal boundaries, but complements them by illuminating the conceptual background of the framework’s emergence. Scope and Intended Use This philosophical appendix is provided for contextual and interpretative purposes only.It does not make scientific, empirical, or clinical claims, and it should not be construed as a validation, application protocol, or methodological instruction.Any formal use of the MAB–ST framework must be based on the Core Framework and the relevant domain-specific application packages. License and Terms of Use The applicable license and terms of use for the materials in this record are provided within the package itself.Users are required to consult the included licensing and usage conditions prior to any reuse, redistribution, or application of the materials. No rights beyond those explicitly stated in the included license terms are granted. Citation If you reference or discuss the philosophical background of the MAB–ST framework, please cite this record using its DOI and consult the Core Framework and the Interpretative Boundaries document for correct contextualization. Clarification on “Consistency” in the Pandora Interpretation (MAB-ST) In the MAB-ST interpretation of Pandora’s box, the element that remains within the box is not “hope” in a psychological or moral sense, but structural consistency. Consistency here denotes the formal condition of coherence that determines which states, relations, and transitions are admissible within a system at all. In this sense, consistency is not an additional component of the world-model, but the very structural principle underlying the world-quadruple itself. The world-quadruple formalizes the space of what can meaningfully exist, interact, and persist within a system. Consequently, destructive or harmful configurations are not excluded by moral prescription, but by structural non-admissibility: they cannot be integrated into a coherent relational system without violating the conditions of consistency. The “remaining element” thus represents the invariant structural condition that preserves the coherence of the system across transformations.
