Abstract

The African American Resource Center (AARC) is a proposed nonprofit idea focused on strengthening long-term economic stability for African Americans, particularly those whose families were historically impacted by slavery and segregation. The concept is to create a coordinated access hub — connecting African Americans to existing job programs, housing resources, healthcare enrollment, and education pathways through trusted partnerships rather than providing services directly. Modeled after the Jewish Federation system, the idea centers on building lasting institutional support through structure, partnership, and organized access instead of one-time assistance.
