Abstract

This document is a practitioner-facing companion to the Distributed Spiral Learning (DSL) framework. It is designed to support coaches and practitioners in recognising when architectural coherence is being maintained, when it is beginning to drift, and how to respond when breakdown occurs in real-world delivery. The Field Guide does not introduce new framework elements or operational guidance. Instead, it provides diagnostic lenses, boundary conditions, and recovery strategies that help practitioners interpret and apply the Practice Guidelines under variable, imperfect, and time-pressured conditions. This document should be read alongside the Distributed Spiral Learning White Paper and the Practice Guidelines. It is intended for use during implementation, reflection, and troubleshooting, rather than as an introductory text.
