Replication materials for: Organizational resilience in higher education institutions under economic crises – a configurational approach

This repository contains the replication materials for a doctoral dissertation that investigates organizational resilience in higher education institutions under economic crises using a configurational approach. The study adopts the Resource-Based View (RBV) and the dynamic capabilities framework to examine how combinations of managerial practices, internal resources, and dynamic capabilities are associated with organizational resilience in higher education institutions facing exogenous economic shocks. Empirically, the dissertation integrates three complementary studies: (i) a systematic literature review with content analysis; (ii) a crisp-set Qualitative Comparative Analysis (csQCA) based on international cases; and (iii) a fuzzy-set Qualitative Comparative Analysis (fsQCA) applied to Brazilian higher education institutions during the COVID-19 economic crisis. The repository includes datasets, calibration files, and fully documented R scripts used for data preprocessing, fuzzy calibration, truth table construction, and configurational analysis. All materials are provided to ensure transparency and support replication and extension of the analyses reported in the dissertation and related publications.
