Abstract

Environmental systems in the planetary city are designed as intelligent, regenerative, and interconnected ecosystems that harmonize urban development with natural cycles. Rather than viewing the environment as a separate entity, the planetary city integrates ecological infrastructure into its core spatial, technological, and social frameworks. Advanced monitoring technologies, climate-responsive design, and circular resource management enable the city to reduce environmental impact while enhancing ecological resilience and biodiversity. Within this model, natural and artificial systems operate in synergy, where green infrastructure, renewable energy networks, and adaptive environmental governance support sustainable living and long-term planetary balance. The planetary city promotes environmental awareness and collective responsibility by embedding ecological intelligence into urban planning, economic activities, and social participation. As a result, environmental sustainability becomes a foundational principle that guides innovation, resilience, and the continuous regeneration of urban life.
