EchoPrime: A Verifiable Oracle for Deterministic Safe Prime Generation with On-Chain Audit Trails
Abstract
EchoPrime: A Verifiable Oracle for Deterministic Safe Prime Generation with On-Chain Audit Trails The paper presents a system that replaces random prime generation with a deterministic, auditable pipeline. Given any index n, EchoPrime projects a candidate safe prime using a closed-form estimator (p ≈ α·n·ln²n, where α ≈ 2.8913), verifies it using a structural scoring layer based on Lucas' theorem, confirms primality, and publishes the full trace on-chain via an Ethereum smart contract. Key results: • 1,000,000 candidates tested, 76,144 valid safe primes found (7.6–9.7% hit rate)• 33–42× more efficient than random search at 30-bit scale• 100% verification accuracy — zero false positives• Every published prime carries a reproducible numeric score and is permanently anchored on-chainWhat it covers: 1. The estimator formula and its derivation from safe prime density asymptotics2. The Lucas' theorem-based verification layer (honest about the math — it's known theory applied as an audit trace, not claimed as novel)3. Million-scale empirical validation4. Solidity oracle contract architecture (storage, events, queries)5. Comparison to conventional methods (OpenSSL, RNG + Miller-Rabin)6. Use cases: ZK rollups, MPC, Diffie-Hellman, RSA, trusted setups, deterministic key derivation7. Cross-chain extensions (Bitcoin via OP_RETURN, sidechains, oracle relays)In one sentence: It's a 10-page paper that defines a new cryptographic primitive — the deterministic prime oracle — and backs it with empirical evidence across a million candidates.
