An Emergent Hierarchy of Space, Entropy, Gravity, and Conscious Time
Abstract
This paper presents a philosophical and conceptual framework rather than a testable physicaltheory. It synthesizes ideas from modern cosmology, quantum mechanics, thermodynamics, and philosophy of time to explore how spacetime, gravity, entropy, life, and consciousexperience may emerge from a deeper, pre-geometric substrate. The framework is intended asa macro-level interpretive model that integrates multiple moving parts into a cohesivenarrative, without claiming experimental verification. It proposes a unified understanding forthe emergence of gravity, entropy, life, conscious experience, and temporality within a singleinterpretive narrative informed by modern physics. The framework does not introduce newphysical laws or testable models, but offers a philosophical synthesis of ideas drawn fromcosmology, thermodynamics, quantum theory, and philosophy of time. It argues that gravityand time are emergent rather than fundamental, that space does not require observability toexist, and that meaningful time arises only within rare, stable physical conditions (“Goldilockszones”) where complex information integration and conscious experience are possible.
