The Speed and Light
Abstract
ABSTRACT: Analysis of 20 astrophysical objects reveals that the speed of light is a variable dependent on the temperature (T) of the transit medium. Using the formula V = T / 6.674, we demonstrate that in the high-temperature intergalactic medium, light and plasma jets accelerate significantly beyond 299,792 km/s. METHODOLOGY: All measurements (temperature and velocity) were taken in the interstellar/intergalactic medium (IGM) along the transit path, distant from the central object. Formula: V (million km/s) = T (million Kelvin) / 6.674. FULL DATASET (20 OBJECTS): THE SUN (Baseline) Medium: Solar Corona (External environment). Temperature: 2M K (Source: NASA SOHO/SDO). Calculation: 2 / 6.674 = 0.2996M km/s. FACT: 0.3M km/s (1.0c). Verified by standard physics. MICROQUASAR SS 433 Medium: W50 Nebula shell (Propagation path). Temperature: 1.7M K (Source: Chandra X-ray Observatory). Calculation: 1.7 / 6.674 = 0.254M km/s. FACT: 0.260M km/s (0.87c). Verified by jet monitoring.
