Abstract

his technical note provides the TFPT v2.8 prediction for the ultra clean flavor changing neutral current decays K plus to pi plus nu nubar and K long to pi zero nu nubar, evaluated using standard short distance Standard Model expressions with TFPT derived CKM parameters. It reports the predicted branching ratios in the Buras normalization and emphasizes that the key discriminator is the correlated point in the Grossman Nir plane rather than either mode alone. The note requests that experimental results be reported as point estimates with a two dimensional uncertainty ellipse capturing the correlation between the charged and neutral modes, enabling a direct test of the TFPT CKM closure.
