Abstract

This technical note proposes an astrophysical test of TFPT v2.8 via an achromatic polarization rotation residual in black hole environments. The observable is defined as the EVPA intercept residual Δχ0 after subtracting the intrinsic emission angle predicted by a GRMHD model and separating Faraday rotation through a multi frequency χ versus lambda squared fit. TFPT predicts a characteristic residual magnitude |Δχ0| ≈ 4.2 milliradian, numerically aligned with the same universal topological scale that appears in the cosmic birefringence prediction. The note provides a concrete analysis request for per pixel fitting across observing bands and highlights the dominant systematics, especially absolute EVPA calibration. It includes explicit pass or fail criteria based on achievable per pixel noise and calibration offsets.
