Derivation of Nucleon Electric Charge and Magnetic Dipole Moments in VEQF Framework
Abstract
Within the Vacuum Energy Quanta Field (VEQF) ontology—a single continuous elastic medium—both electric charge and magnetic dipole moments of the proton and neutron emerge as topological invariants of toroidal soliton (hopfion) interference spectra. Electric charge arises if and only if the strain field contains a spectral mode at ω = 1, enabling unidirectional vacuum flux pumping. Magnetic moments arise from weighted circulating currents of all spectral modes, with topological weighting factors (4/3, −1/3) derived from the empirically grounded TCI hierarchy {Ne, Nu, Nd} = {1, 2, 3}. Using only the electron magnetic moment |μ_e| = μ_B as calibration reference, and deriving all other quantities analytically from TCI integers, spectral interference rules, and a universal weak chiral asymmetry δ ≈ 0.084, we obtain exact charge assignment and magnetic moment predictions matching experiment to within 1.2 × 10^{-7} (proton) and 3.0 × 10^{-6} (neutron) relative error.
