Occupational Hazards and Safety Interventions: Evidence from Selected Factories
Abstract
This study examines the nature and extent of occupational hazards faced by workers in selected factories and evaluates the effectiveness of safety interventions implemented to reduce workplace risks. Using empirical evidence collected from industrial workers, the study analyses physical, chemical, and psychological hazards, along with the role of safety training, protective equipment, and management support. The findings provide valuable insights for improving industrial safety policies, labour welfare, and organizational practices in manufacturing units.
