Abstract

The external ear's accessibility often renders imaging unnecessary, unless lesions obstruct deeper areas, complications are suspected, or treatment yields inadequate results. Middle ear imaging poses significant challenges due to its intricate anatomy and diverse range of potential pathologies. This article elaborates the diagnostic value of cross-sectional imaging in precisely identifying both external and middle ear conditions, ultimately aiding in correct diagnosis and effective patient care.
