Abstract

Using a scalar structural diagnostic λ(t), evaluated on standardized temporal data products, we identify intervals of variance suppression without phase alignment, propagation, or coupling or observable lag. λ is a scalar diagnostic sensitive to the distribution of admissible temporal modes. This paper provides an interpretive classification of these observations. We argue that the reported behavior is incompatible with force-mediated, propagating, or coupling-based explanations and is instead consistent with a standing temporal constraint regime. We introduce the concept of temporal condensation to describe periods of over-constrained temporal advance, complementary to under-constrained regimes associated with Brownian motion and stochastic drift. No mechanism, control pathway, or transport process is proposed. This work situates the reported observations within a structure-first framework and clarifies admissible interpretations while explicitly ruling out non-admissible ones.
