AI Phishing Finder: An AI-Based Detection System for Phishing Emails
Abstract
Phishing remains one of the most persistent cyber threats, often deceiving users into revealing sensitive information such as passwords and financial details. While many phishing detection systems exist, a large portion are either too complex for everyday users or fail to adapt to evolving attack techniques. This paper presents AI Phishing Finder, a lightweight and practical machine-learning-based system designed to assist non-technical users in identifying phishing emails. The system is developed using a publicly available dataset containing legitimate and phishing emails. Text preprocessing techniques including tokenization, stop-word removal, and TF-IDF vectorization are applied to transform email content into numerical features. Multiple machine-learning models are evaluated, with a Random Forest classifier demonstrating strong performance in terms of accuracy and reliability. The proposed approach emphasizes accessibility, real-world usability, and adaptability, making it suitable for deployment as a practical phishing detection tool.
