Abstract

This document provides estimates and characterisations regarding the makeup of the NFDI4Earth community and the prospective user base for the NFDI4Earth services. The estimates draw from a variety of different sources, including official statistics from the Federal Statistical Office of Germany, governmental agencies, scientific communities, high-performance computing providers, RDM support structures, and a survey conducted at selected conferences.
