Makri Influence Dynamics (MID)
Abstract
Makri Influence Dynamics (MID) is an axiomatic framework for dynamical systems in which influence is treated as a primitive quantity distinct from probability. Classical expectation-based models collapse probability weighting, aggregation, and influence attribution into a single linear operator, enforcing structurally bounded sensitivity to rare but high-impact outcomes. MID replaces expectation with an influence-centered reference construction, defining normalized dominance measures, constrained deviation coordinates, and admissible interaction-driven dynamics evolving on an affine state manifold. The framework admits deterministic and stochastic formulations, supports nonlinear influence mappings that generate rare-event amplification and instability, and extends naturally to continuum limits. Expectation-centered dynamics emerge within MID only as a singular limiting case corresponding to bounded influence sensitivity, rather than as a universal organizing principle.
