A Layered Model of Consciousness: Brain as Filter, Awareness as a Fundamental Field
Abstract
This work proposes a conceptual and interdisciplinary model of consciousness in which the brain acts as a biological filter rather than a generator of awareness. The framework integrates neuroscience, behavioral science, and philosophy of mind into a layered structure of consciousness and presents testable predictions for future research
